Yes. Where self-service is enabled by the club and included in the plan, a person can reserve an available place only where their current legal shooting basis permits the selected slot. Staff can continue to create bookings manually.
Can one booking include several participants?
Yes. A booking can include multiple participants, and staff can assign people to a shared booking or slot. Each person remains individually associated so attendance and firearm usage can later be reconciled against the correct record.
Can staff book before every guest is known?
Yes. Staff can reserve a place for an unknown guest and populate the participant details later, while keeping the booking ready for individual attendance and firearm-usage reconciliation.
Can lanes be selected or allocated automatically?
Yes. Clubs can configure booking by lane or automatic lane allocation. Lanes can also use pooled capacity where more than one booking may occupy the same lane.
Can a booking require payment?
Supported plans can connect slot pricing, card payments, and vouchers to the session. Staff can see who has paid, the amount received, and what remains outstanding. Where configured, back-to-back sessions can be purchased for extended lane use. Stripe processing fees apply when supported online payments are taken.
How does booking connect to attendance?
Staff confirm attendance and firearm usage—including rounds shot—against each participant. Completing the booking automatically reconciles that information into an attendance entry, preserving the applicable legal shooting basis and firearm usage for compliance and long-term recordkeeping.
Can booking eligibility use membership information?
Yes. Current membership, payment, legal basis, and participant context can control self-service access and raise clear staff warnings. A suspended or inactive member cannot make a new self-service booking; existing future bookings remain visible with a clear warning so staff can review them.
What happens to cancelled, absent, or completed bookings?
Cancelled and absent bookings can retain an optional reason and are hidden from the grid by default, although staff can show them when needed. Completed bookings become visually muted so attention stays on work that is still outstanding.
Are people notified when a booking changes?
Yes. Automatic notifications are sent to confirm a new booking and to notify the relevant people when an existing booking is changed.
